Pipiri Ma - Legend (The game will be based around this legend)

In the Beginning, there were a family of four, a father, Mother, and the two siblings. ( A brother and sister) This family lived in the South Pacific on an island called Avaiki. The father's a fishermen and the mother is a home wife. The father loved his children very much, his love for them was beyond compare, but his love for his wife were more than written love letters, more than anything in this world, he had a heart of gold for her. The mother is wicked. She hated those children, she hated kids. she hated dirty little fingers and filthy faces with smiling smiles. She was declared an evil witch the village says. The mother has always had her ways with her husband deceiving him into leaving his children outside of the hut to sleep, manipulating him that his children are liars and thieves in the night. His love for his wife was so strong that he was blinded by it, everything his wife says he believes it.

One day, the father went out fishing, he caught three enormous albacore tuna fish, the father jumped with excitement because he knew he has provided for his family a feast, his family has starved themselves because there were no fish out in sea for two weeks at least. He packed his fishing gear, cleaned the guts out of the fish and went home straight away to tell the good news. At home that very same day, the wicked witch (the mother) had not prepared dinner the night before, she made them do chores from morning to sunset. This lady was so cunning that she heard the village people saying that her husband is coming back home, so she hurried home and made the kids go to bed. The siblings stomachs growl and growl but ignored it and fell asleep.

later on that evening the younger sibling woke up from a very hungry tummy, at the same time she can smell the aroma of a cooked fish, she woke her brother in tears of joy saying "brother! i smell fish, maybe dad has caught some fish and they are cooking it for us" the brother woke up, and they both made their way outside at the open fire, but the brother heard the mother and fathers converation. "don't wake them up, we won't be enough with half of a fish, let them sleep, that way we can eat as much as we want and we'll be full" the father replies "but they are my children, they need to eat something". The father didn't bother with his childrens sleep, the brother then told his sister that in the morning they shall go around the fire pit and see if they have left any leftovers for them, but only to see bones and finished plates. the siblings cried rivers and decided that night, they will run away. And so they did. 

They ran far away, away from the village and up to the tallest mountain. When the parents woke up that very morning, they have noticed that their children have disappeared, they searched high and low, till they finally saw them on top of the mountain. The siblings both cried in pain, then they prayed. They prayed to become the stars in the night. The parents ran after them, but it was too late they have reached the sky and became the most beautiful shining two stars in the night.

This is the story i want to use as my background story for my game but like have some tweeking bits into the story, so it won't go exactly like this, This is the before life, the life in the universe they were living in before they became stars. So in the game i will show their life after they became stars then they fell back to earth and all of that but they fell into the parallel universe because when they fell to earth, they fell through a worm hole that lead them to this parallel universe. Where everything wasn't what it use to be. Then they travel through the northern islands to find where they belong only to discover that their home is somewhere in the southern islands. Once they have reached home, they realised that the wicked mother was the reason they were pulled into this universe and their father is some sort of slave for her. They end up doing a final battle round to defeat the antagonists so they could return to their normal lives again.
